Becoming whole-hearted disciples of Jesus together
Jesus' Plan A (and there is no Plan 'B'!) to build his Kingdom on earth is through a Holy-Spirit empowered Church. There really isn't such a thing as 'individual spirituality.' People are imperfect, and Church failures and hurt is very real, but we can't do it alone. Every believer in Jesus, upon faith in Christ, is placed into the Universal Church (Matt. 16:18; Col. 1:18; Eph. 5:32; 1 Cor. 15:9). This universal placement is visibly embraced through local church membership. By identifying with, being shepherded by, and being accountable to a local assembly, we signify, grow, and mature in our Christian walk.
About Membership
About
Membership is for any regular attender of Delta Church that feels like they've shifted from "I go to this church" to "This is my church." Everyone is welcome to take the class, but only those 18 and up are eligible to become official members. Members also get to vote at our business meetings.
Format:
The class is offered 2-3 times a year.
Membership Class is a two-part, two week class.
Each class is an hour long and is taught by our lead pastors.
