God's Love for the Broken (Sunbury Ohio)

At Delta Church, we believe that Jesus came to heal every part of us—our hearts, our minds, our spirits. He didn’t come for the perfect or the put-together, but for the broken, the hurting, and the weary.

We truly believe that God loves the broken, anxious, addicted, lonely, traumatized, abused, overlooked, heartbroken, sick, burnt out, suicidal, hurt, disappointed, and depressed. That's why Jesus came.

The poster you see in our foyer speaks to the many ways we experience brokenness in this world. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, feeling the weight of past trauma, facing addiction, or battling feelings of loneliness and despair, we want you to know that you are seen, you are valued, and you are deeply loved by God.

“For God so loved the world…” (John 3:16). That love is not a distant, impersonal love. It is a love that meets you right where you are—in the middle of your pain, your doubts, and your struggles. Whether you're dealing with the weight of depression, a broken relationship, or the pain of feeling overlooked, God's love is bigger than your circumstances. Jesus’ love is the kind that doesn’t just leave us where we are. He offers healing, restoration, and the promise of wholeness.
